Hi guys, Iam going to follow your build. I really love the design of the house in the paper. Is this the house you are gong to build? We hope to build and so it will help us.
Cheers Sharon
Love the design Kylie & Ben, and the way you’ve made it work with your land is really inspiring.
Regarding the mud, my Dad and spent two years of weekends building my little house and the whole time it was surrounded by wet clay. In the end, it’s a good workout for your thighs lifting legs weighted down by 10kg each of mud!
Thanks Nadene – appreciate you getting in touch. Yeah, our legs have definitely had a few workouts in the mud, but it’s slowly disappearing as the weather improves, drainage has gone in and works well underway. She’ll be a putting green soon!
Gosh I am sooo pleased. I am going to let you guys into a little secret. I worked for Council and I know how hard it can be. The staff are a fantastic bunch at Rodney and they just have to follow the rules under the Building code and Resource management rules. Sssstresssssssssssssss makes things harder on both sides. Rules and regulations can’t be bent. Yeah !! keep going. I just love your house.
