We have piles. Lots of them! Was awesome to watch the Ground & Pound boys thump 50 odd poles into the ground and see the first parts of our house emerge from the ground.

There was a lot of thumping done all over the section with 50 odd piles required to hold up our house, retaining walls and driveway.
Each pile had to reach a predetermined set calculated by the structural engineer. Here the guys are checking they’re at that correct depth done by dropping the 500kg driver weight 5 times from 1m. The target set had to average a 2mm change.
