It’s been non stop action on site lately, with new stuff going up all over the show. One of the most exciting things is the two pods are now connected together by the bridge over the stream. While only the floor is down at the moment, it’s awesome to be able to walk around the whole house now, just like it will be when we move in.

Inside the living pod – the kitchen runs 5m along the wall to the right of this photo, with a kitchen island in the middle and our dining table siting alongside the huge 4m, floor to ceiling window you can see along the left hand wall. Then our living area will be in the foreground. You can see Garrick working on the connecting bridge which runs over to our bedroom pod. It will soon have a roof and glass walls.

Can’t wait for the glass walls to be installed on the bridge. The ponga in the background will peek beautifully through it. I’d like to say that was through great design, but it’s a happy coincidence!
